Lambda sensors and O2 sensors perform key functions in a vehicle's exhaust system: Measuring the oxygen level in the exhaust gases – Lambda sensors analyze the oxygen content in the exhaust gases, providing data to the engine control unit. Air-fuel mixture adjustment – Based on the probe measurements, the engine control unit adjusts the fuel and air ratio, ensuring optimal combustion.
